An invisible force in the North and beyond; Vic works tirelessly to enable people to achieve their dreams and ambitions, whatever their background. She has over twelve year's experience of working with national, award-winning youth charities and across the creative industries.
She's a massive advocate of the power of informal learning, DIY approaches, networking and raw talent as routes to success - with a big, fat passion for social mobility and it's incredible strength to break down all sorts of barriers, from education and employment, to success in certain industries. In recognition of her achievements to date, Vic was included on the prestigious Northern Power Women Future List 2017 and in the same year, awarded a mentor and funding through Flourish CIC's supporting women in social enterprise scheme.
Her most recent role was Fundraising and Marketing Manager at UpRising, the UK's leading, youth leadership development charity, spearheading projects such as conceiving viral Register To Vote Campaigns for the Cabinet Office, securing top-level, cross-sector support for the charity including, Bruntwood, Brother UK, PwC, Grant Thornton, Siemens, Bank of England, Liverpool University and north west Local Authorities, plus contributing to significant fundraising efforts such as the Big Lottery Fund, and Esmée Fairbairn..
She’s also the former Deputy Director of NOISEfestival.com, Europe’s leading promoter of emerging creative talent. Here she helped secure new creatives massive, media exposure (BBC R1, 1Xtra…), exhibitions and masterclasses at impressive locations, including Downing Street, House of Commons and V&A, and enabled them to get kick-ass kudos from the best in the business, like from legends such as Brian Eno, Boiler Room, Wayne Hemingway, Giles Deacon, Peter Saville and Badly Drawn Boy.
Vic also flies the flag for women in the media. She's the Director of the independent music website,Silent Radio and co-Founder, Exec-Producer and Presenter of the Silent Radio Show, that’s broadcast live on MCR.Live. Her further radio includes BBC 5Live and BBC Radio Manchester. Vic also has international TV Production Management credits such as BBC, ZDF / Arte and Smithsonian.
A regular panelist on the themes of representation, inclusion, diversity and self promotion, her recent appearances include talks for Off The Record festival, The MPA, DivaManc and the Inclusive Growth Unit.
She dabbles with playing records to people (only when Corrie’s not on) and her first first podcast Tourist, is currently in pre-production.
Vic also has a cat called Alan and he’s the bee's knees.

How I Can Help You
Charity, SME, creative genius or enterprising superstar? Here's just some areas that I can support you with:
Ideation to Evaluation
Do you have a project idea, but don't know where to start? I can support you from nurturing the initial idea, planning, getting funds, spreading the love - right through to the monitoring, then evaluation.
Funding & Strategy
From looking at how you can become more sustainable & agile, to helping you look in the right places for money and get your applications looking top.
From strategy and social media, to press releases, website advice, PR angles and events - (you name it, I’ve worked on it; conferences, exhibitions, launch parties, MP visits… virtual art showcases - don't ask!)
From podcast training and production, to music-based happenings, such as gigs and the odd bit of DJ'in...
For example, helping you reach a youth audience, to bridging the gap between business and charity and vice versa. Achieve above and beyond your CSR or discover how pro-bono support can help your organisation beyond the usual cash injection.
